Programs Offered
Early-out Program
This involves you delegating their Self Pay Accounts to Extension
Express after billings to Insurance and Medicare/Medicaid
or Self-Pays approximately 30-60 days after first billing.
Extension Express will operate as an extension of your office,
operate under guidelines set forth by you, and collect on
your behalf. If for any reason secondary insurance charges
were not billed, Extension Express will also bill them on
your behalf. Our nominal fee remains the same regardless of
when the patient pays as long as the charge remains in our
account. Should the collection effort involve bad debt collections
or legal charges, you do not pay any of those costs, for the
length of the collection cycle. Even if Extension Express
is charged with collecting the outstanding balance. The fee
for early out is only 8%.
Bad Debt Collection
This involves you delegating your 90 day past due bad debt
accounts and after having attempted collection on your own.
In this case, Extension Express will operate as a collection
agency. Bad debt collection efforts will involve legal charges.
The fee for bad debt collections is only 12%.
The Express Reporting Program
Upon receipt of accounts paid, an acknowledgement summary
will be submitted to you. The following list of reports are
provided on a monthly basis:
Account Status Reports
— Account recovery statement
— Detailed account history
— Collection by percentage
Aging Recovery Reports
— Gross account receivables
— Net account receivables
— Pay mix by financial class
Bad Debt Reports
— Acknowledgement of placement
— Classification of debt origin
— Payments made by individual
